It gives us immense pleasure and pride to welcome you to LASACON 2026, the annual international conference of the Laboratory Animal Scientists' Association (LASA), India — being hosted in Gujarat for the first time.
Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, and LASA India are jointly organising LASACON 2026, to be held from 9 to 11 December 2026, with a dedicated workshop on 9 December followed by the scientific conference on 10 and 11 December. A one-day post-conference trip to the Statue of Unity is planned for 12 December 2026.
LASACON 2026 is envisioned as a vibrant platform for scientific exchange, knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development. The conference brings together laboratory animal scientists, researchers, veterinarians, academicians, students, industry professionals and experts from diverse disciplines to share their research, experiences, innovations and perspectives.
As artificial intelligence continues to transform our day-to-day lives, understanding its impact and potential in scientific research has become increasingly important. Keeping this in view, the theme of LASACON 2026 is “Use of AI & Advanced Technologies in Animal Toxicology, Research, Ethics & Regulatory Compliance for Viksit Bharat.”
Hosting LASACON in Gujarat is a moment of great significance for us. About the conference
Fourteen editions on, the questions have changed
LASACON brings researchers, scientists, academicians, veterinarians, students and industry professionals together each year. The 2026 edition is jointly organised by Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. and LASA India, and comes to Ahmedabad in December — the first LASACON held in Gujarat.
What is different this time is the subject. Artificial intelligence and computational methods are changing how toxicology studies are designed, how many animals a study needs, and what regulators will accept as evidence. Three days are built around working that out.

Who is behind LASACON 2026
LASACON 2026 is jointly organised by Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. and the Laboratory Animal Scientists’ Association (India).
Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd.
Accuprec is a contract research organisation in Ahmedabad, incorporated on 9 August 2012. It runs regulatory and research testing for pharmaceuticals, chemicals, phytochemicals, herbal formulations, food and medical devices from a facility of more than 1,20,000 sq ft at Matoda, on the outskirts of the city.
Its work spans analytical and microbiological testing, preclinical and toxicological studies, biocompatibility and medical device testing, formulation development and regulatory dossier preparation. Among the accreditations Accuprec lists are OECD GLP, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (NABL), ISO 9001:2015, registration with the DSIR and with the CCSEA. The full list is published on accuprec.com.
Accuprec’s leadership chairs the organising committee: Shri Mulubhai Kandoriya, Managing Director, is Patron; Dr. Rina Gokani, Director & Chief Scientific Officer, and Mr. Mayur Kandoriya, Director & Chief Marketing Officer, are Co-Patrons; and Dr. Manish Rachchh, Director & Chief Executive Officer, is Organizing Secretary.
Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. is the joint organiser of LASACON 2026, with LASA India.
Laboratory Animal Scientists’ Association (India)
LASA is the professional body whose annual congress LASACON is, established in 2004. Its President, Dr. Vijay Pal Singh, is Co-Organizing Secretary for this edition.
